I was extremely early, assuming that EDSA would be traffic due to the Papal Visit, yet I was wrong. Got the chance to look around the area and enjoyed the comfy vibe over at Scarsdale, Shaw while waiting. Soon enough, I started meeting new people from different fields gathered in one place for the love of colors!
I can't put the experience into words. Well, we were first given our super duper cute GooglyGooeys Workshop Kits (politely asked if I could exchange mine for the blue one! Lol. Blue > Pink. Thank you for letting me! Haha!). Tippy, then started to teach us different ways to handle the brush. She also explained how to get those crazy effects and how the kind of paper is extremely important especially if you want to achieve a specific style on your artwork.
I don't remember how long we spent filling the boxes of the watercolor paper with the different styles she was teaching us. Everybody was so focused that we all forgot we had seatmates. Lol! Things started to lighten up when everybody started chatting and when the activity was less intensive. Tippy and her husband were also very fun to talk to!
The pictures on the left shows all the brushes included in the workshop kit and Tippy's amazing watercolor pad from Paris. Good paper and art supplies over costly designer hand bags! Amen! Lol. (That conversation cracked me up!)
