Anthony and I arrived at the venue an hour early for set up. (Thanks for the ride dad!) I was nervous to death but I think we've planned it well. Everything had it's place and Big Bad Wolf had the most amazing and caring morning staff. We were also able to chat with Craft Carrot owners Ate Andrea and Ate Monica who also came in early to set up their own booth. I'll stop babbling and just check out the photos!
Here are the photos of the initial set-up!
Washi-fied clipboards for everyone together with gifts from Ate Imma Frias of Dyosaimma.com and Ate Alexis Ventura of The Craft Central.
We were also able to set up a "Materials Table". It includes nibs, colored pencils, inks, and a binder full of Calligraphy resources for Script, Copperplate and Spencerian! (With full consent from Dr. Vitolo! Thank you so much, sir!)
Lastly there were LOTS and LOTS of giveaways! (I'm not exaggerating and boo me for not taking photos before giving them out. Go stalk the winners! Hihi.) Though to give you guys an idea and to thank all the generous souls of these wonderful calligraphers, participants were able to take home; 1) black spiral notebooks from The Craft Central, 2) canvas bags from Ate Shawie of Swirls and Strokes PH, 3) watercolor/calligraphy papers from Ate Imma (@dyosaimma), 4) vintage nibs and 5) pearl ex inks from Ate Grace (@gfrosen), 6) fountain pen inks from Craft Carrot, 7) canvas pouches from Mich, 8) art packages from Ate Richelle ( (It was really nice to meet you even for a short while! Bonding soon!) and 9) clipboards, certificates, and a little vial token from us! Wow.
I feel so honored to Pen Meet with each one of these calligraphers!
That's a wrap! Hoping Pen Meet Manila 2 will start 2015 with a bang!
